I haven't much time at the moment for verbosity, but I feel I should at least give a nod to propriety with a short introduction.

Now that is a patent fib, and you know it. You had nearly an entire herd's-worth of steak at breakfast not two hours ago, and in addition you've stated the opinion more than once that roses taste foul.
You're just attempting to unnerve the photographer, that's what I say.
